Reporting Line: Chief Financial Officer
Salary: Up to £45K

Role Outline:

As Director of Innovations your primary focus is to identify and realise new product developments and initiatives to ensure we are exploring all markets, and are able to provide services to support opportunities in the e-commerce arena.  Products would probably be related to the digital or online business environment, service offer and bespoke client requirements.  New Products will provide the opportunity to create business tools and services which will diversify and/or enhance our product portfolio.  Your ideas and suggestions must be clearly documented in a business plan and supported with initial feasibility studies to allow the Board to consider suggestions and agree to the plan proposed. 

Job Tasks:

• Continual innovative of new products and services
• Work with support of IT, Finance and Marketing to ensure internal systems are developed to accommodate new products or services.
• Work within a three stage process for new ideas. Stage 1: Presentation of ideas Stage 2: report on testing of ideas with a test budget framework Stage 3: Dragon Den style process to seek finding for full implementation of new product or service.
• Manage New Product Manager to ensure new product delivery schedules are achieved
•Provision of weekly progress report to CFO and fortnightly presentations to the Board of feasibility studies for review at innovations meeting
