Background of Individual
The selected individual will have a background in client services and have demonstrated a strong track record of successfully developing and growing accounts across a range of vertical markets. They are likely to have come from an agency background, with a good understanding of online marketing and services. In addition to this, they will have already worked in the capacity of Account Manager for their current employer for a period of at least 2 years.
The vertical market specialisation of the individual is less important, as Latitude’s client base is very broad and varied. That said, the financial sector forms an important part of Latitude’s target market, so any exposure to this vertical will prove advantageous.
The individual will not be a job-hopper; Latitude needs our Account Managers to build long term relationships with our clients. We will therefore look to employ a person who has demonstrated longevity within their previous employments.
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate management capability and may have managed teams before. If they have not previously managed teams, then they must demonstrate the aptitude for management; Latitude will grow significantly during the next few years and we like to promote from within.
In addition to having a variety of accounts in their background, the individual will also have worked with a large range of deal sizes, as Latitude’s accounts can vary from £20,000 per month to upwards of £450,000 per month.
As Latitude is a mid-size but rapidly growing organisation, the individual will be used to operating in an environment of change and happy to adjust as required.
