Role Title: Business Development Consultant
Location: London
Reporting Line: Chief Sales and Marketing Manager
Salary: OTE £100K + benefits + share options
Role Responsiblities
• To establish and implement strategic and tactical plan that will; consistently produce new business opportunities
• Deliver a diverse and balanced client portfolio in terms of client status, type, demography and contract value and duration
• Establish an productive network of agency, client and potential client relationships
• Demonstrate how market and business intelligence can be gathered and used to maximum effect
• Identify the company’s uniqueness and added value and profile these assets in order to ensure that Latitude remains / becomes first choice for existing and new clients
• Open up new geographical markets and extend existing boundaries
• Promote the Latitude brand and image
• To add value to the company’s sales and marketing effort
• To maintain a keen awareness of product and market developments and changes and to identify where these changes can provide opportunities for developing the company’s business
• To provide options and solutions for client issues
• To educate the mass market on the benefits and potential of search engine marketing in order to increase the range of opportunities for sales and brand awareness
• To role model the company’s values and ensure that the values at all times
• To ensure that employee standards, as contained in the company handbook, are implemented
Role Tasks
• To provide regular and accurate reporting to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer
• To introduce a sales culture within the whole business
• To propose, negotiate and manage the company’s client hospitality budget
• To establish cohesive links and relationships with sales and marketing, account management and search teams
• To produce a regular supply of sales leads from all business units and team members
• To organise the company’s hospitality calendar
• To regularly benchmark client satisfaction and use the information gathered to add value to the company’s sales and marketing effort
• To support client presentations / seminars etc.,
• To work with the company’s executive board to make the business case for research and development resource leading to the introduction of new products and improvements to existing products
• To make the business case for new markets and geographical boundary extensions
• To implement the company’s performance management system and processes
