Direct Marketing Executive

Reports to: Head of Marketing
Location: West End, London

Salary range:  £21 – £26,000 dependent on experience
+ Annual Bonus + BUPA + DIS + other benefits

Start date: Immediate

Requirements
• Extremely professional with high attention to detail
• Logistical strength - ability to get things done
• At least two years direct marketing experience
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Good sense of humour

Desirable
• Database Management experience an advantage

Role Responsibilities:
• To support Head of Marketing to deliver on marketing strategies with tactical implementation of to budget and deadline that creates sales opportunities e.g. DM, E-blasting, Pay Per Click, banner placements
• To demonstrably extract the best return on marketing investment
• To develop and manage the lead distribution programme
• To receive leads from all sources and add context and further details as requested
• To proactively generate leads from research
• To manage lead reporting process and to analyse leads and returns and advise on most profitable sources and promotional vehicles
• To help implement and manage CRM system
• To analyse third party list and lead provider databases and advise on usage
• To understand our proposition and our positioning against competitors and conduct competitive intelligence research
• To maintain a deep understanding of the search/web industry and key client industries
• To contribute to brand value development, brand guidelines and be a brand ambassador role modelling the Company’s Values
• To establish cohesive links and relationships with Sales, Key Client Development, Partnership & Affinities, Innovations, Search and Account Management Teams
• To ensure that the Employee Standards, as contained in the Company Handbook, are implemented at all times

Role Tasks:
• To provide accurate and regular reporting to the Head of Marketing and measure and improve the return on the marketing investment
• To execute the highest standard of promotional marketing including Pay Per Click, Banner advertising, E-Marketing and Direct Mail
• To input into the creative pieces for use in promotional communications
• To work closely with business development consultants and senior management to develop a system for allocating leads quickly and appropriately
• To contextualise leads where necessary to give the business development consultant an insight into the nature of the business, the opportunity and the potential
• To input leads into CRM with additional contact details and context as appropriate
• To proactively encourage all parts of the Company to deliver leads they have from contacts, their interactions and from media
• To develop and deliver on a reporting system that allows management to assess the speed and success on leads follow-up
• To regularly conduct an audit on leads sources and success rates to advise on benchmark conversion rates, most profitable sources and promotional vehicles
• To support the implementation of the CRM system and then manage leads allocation and lead recycling for marketing purposes
• To research on web and/or work with list brokers for third party lists and lead provider databases and advise on usage
