Artic Virgins Arrive in Second!

Latitude are proud to be sponsoring the Artic Virgins challenging 350 mile ski race to the north pole in the Polar Challenge 2007.

At 0720 this morning the Arctic Virgins crossed the finish line to become 2nd place winners in the Polar Challenge 2007! This the highest an all female team has ever been placed – after 2005 Pink Lady Pole Cats who came in 6th. Congratulations to the Arctic Virgins on a fantastic achievement. The team are now enjoying bacon butties and a long rest at the finish line.

Team Star have now crossed the finish line at 15:23, and Artemis at 20:30, both teams are safe and well and delighted to be at the finish line! They are enjoying rest and some well earned bacon butties. Polarity are now out of the rubble and on the Noice Penisula. This morning they encountered a polar bear, which they moved away safely. They are tired but well, and continuing on.
