BIMA chair on UK brands’ use of Web 2.0

Paul Walsh, Chair of the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA), is part of the gang I have spent a lot of time with this week. He is in Silicon Valley with the Web Mission delegation, helping UK Web 2.0 start-ups to make connections here.

Paul is also the founder and CEO of Segala, was part of AOL’s UK team when it was just a start-up, and seems to know just about everyone who is anyone in the world of British media and branding. So I pulled him aside from a drinks reception at the W hotel to ask how he thinks UK brands are measuring up when it comes to making use of Web 2.0, especially in comparison with the American companies he works with and observes.
