SMX London, one of the biggest thought leading events in the digital marketing calendar, is coming soon, Monday 18th May and Tuesday 19th May. As part of the event, our Head of Conversion Analytics Rob Jackson and myself will be speaking in three sessions on Monday 18th.
I will be speaking as part of the Search Issues track in a session titled “Searchscape: Latest stats about the search engines”. In the panel discussion, taking place from 10:30am to 11:45am, I will discuss how changes in Google’s trademark policy have impacted the paid search market over the last 12 months, and how Google’s change in policy for gambling ads has further increased their revenues.
I will also take part in the last session of the day (4:30pm to 5:45pm), titled “Paid search & tricky issues”. We will discuss topics such as trademark bidding and double facing. The session will give you solutions to help your brand combat these issues.
As for Rob, he will share conversion analytics knowledge in a session titled “Analysing & converting paid search traffic”, taking place from 10:30am to 11:45am. This session will look at the most effective tactics for getting the most from your paid search campaigns.
If you are keen to discuss these topics or anything else with either Rob or myself, you will find us enjoying a cold beer during the networking reception from 6pm to 7:30pm.
