Online advertising still booming

In case you missed it, the latest IPA Bellwether report confirms a continuation of a trend that’s been evident for the last few years: the further explosion of online advertising.

Internet marketing budgets outperformed all other sectors in the fourth quarter, with a net balance of 31.5% of companies reporting an increase across all business sectors.

Further, 11.5% of companies are earmarking more than 15% of their budgets to online marketing; that’s double the amount for 2005.
