Summer time fun!

Latitude just had its share of fun and frolic both in and out of the sunshine. Both our teams in Warrington and London have had their summer events this month and it’s been one hell of a party!

On a bright sunny day, the team up in Warrington waltzed down to the Walton Hall and Gardens to relive their school years and take part in a good old fashioned School Sports Day. Six teams fought against each other in three legged races, sack races, egg and a spoon race and to top it off a very competitive bout of tug of war, it was all followed off with a hog roast and a BBQ. Not to be left behind, the London team had their summer party soon after.

Standard British weather on the 4th August meant that the Latitude London summer party had to change from softball in Regents Park to a bowl off at All Star lanes in Brick Lane. The London team commandeered 4 lanes for a bowling battle like no other; each team was themed and obligatory embarrassing dress up was worn. The teams were made up of 6 Latitudians each called Hippi Cool, Hippi Peace, Hula Luau and Hula Coconuts.  The battle was a close one but Hula Luau clinched it with a whopping 536 points between them, they also were home to the ‘bowler’ of the day Alex Whyles aka ‘the striker’.

“The summer parties were both fantastic event with lots of bowling, great food and hawaiian themes! It’s always fun hanging out with fellow Latitudians and celebrating our team spirit. Looking forward to the Christmas party next!” Pavitra Kumar, Marketing Manager
