Institute of Directors Award

By Matt Brocklehurst, Head of Marketing  in Company News |Latitude People |Recruitment

You may remember my blog on Latitude and Dylan Thwaites, our CEO, being in the running for two national NBA awards after winning the regional prizes.  We’ve just been told that Dylan has now also been nominated for the Instutute of Directors regional award for Director of the Year.  The nomination is based on Dylan’s role in driving Latitude’s vision, recent achievements and performance as well as corporate social responsibility and employee initiatives (no coincidence Latitude also featured as a Best of British Employer with the BBC’s The Apprentice magazine - see video for a slice of life at Latitude).

It’s a great honour for Dylan and Latitude but more importantly is a reflection of the successful relationships we have with our clients.

Hosted by Sir Trevor McDonald, the IoD North West Director of the Year Awards 2007 will take place on 20th September at the City of Manchester Stadium. Over six hundred guests will gather to celebrate the achievements of the best directors in the North West.

Fingers-crossed on this one as well.
