Edward de Bono, one of the world’s most famous ‘thought leaders’ will make a personal appearance in Manchester next week at a Latitude-sponsored conference.

Dr de Bono is the headline speaker at ‘The Big Think Week’, which takes place at Manchester Business Park from 16-20 April. Hosted by The Edward de Bono Foundation UK, the conference is co-sponsored by Latitude, England Northwest and Berkeley PR.

The event will comprise five workshops for business, political and education leaders, designed to increase individual and group performance.

On Tuesday 17 April, Dr de Bono himself will engage 100 business leaders from the region on the subject of thinking skills for business success. The author of over 60 books such as Lateral Thinking for Management, Six Thinking Hats, Serious Creativity, and Teach Your Child How to Think, Dr de Bono’s message for his Manchester audience is, “The quality of your thinking will determine the quality of your future”

“This partnership demonstrates Latitude’s commitment to pursue strategic relationships with thought leaders around the world”, says Martin Cozens, Director of Affinities & Partnerships at Latitude.

“We are very lucky that Edward will attend the event”, said Chief Executive of The Edward de Bono Foundation UK Robert Rawlinson.  “He is engaged in many different activities around the world and his presence here in April signifies his commitment to bringing creative and constructive thinking to UK business and education”.
