Latitude White at the Small Firms Summit

By Rob Shaw, CTO  in Events |Search Expertise

Latitude White took a stand last week at the Small Firms Summit in Westminster, organised by The Forum of Private Business.  The event was attended by owners and senior directors of some of the UK’s millions of small businesses as well as representatives from trade organisations and MP’s.  It was an opportunity to hear from key speakers on the importance of small businesses within the UK who make up a significant amount of all UK turnover and employment.  I was very interested to hear from the former Home Secretary Charles Clark MP on the importance of small businesses to the UK economy but I was also disappointed by the number of businesses that still don’t understand how the power of search can be applied to their companies to attract new customers and allow them to maximise their limited marketing budgets. This matter was recently reported in NMA.

We were of course happy to share with them our understanding of the market and discuss where we can help.  I know this understanding will continue to grow in the coming months and years and I’m glad that Latitude and Latitude White is in a position to assist in the process.
