Latitude’s Land Rover Adventurers
By Simon Whittick in Company News |Marketing |News
You will be seeing some new faces on this blog very soon, and they may not necessarily fit your image of typical Latitude bloggers, or discuss the same digital marketing topics that are native to this blog!
This is because Latitude has recently agreed to sponsor the aptly named Team Latitude. Team Latitude are the winners of a Sunday Times InGear competition and are currently circumnavigating the world at a latitude of 50 degrees north. The team set off on their adventure at the end of last week from Mullion School, on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, and are set to travel through countries including France, Belgium, Poland, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Mongolia. The aim of the trip is to observe and record changes in climate and how this is affecting people’s lives. You can read more about the team’s travels in this article from last week’s Sunday Times.
The boys – Peter Lovell, 26, team mechanic, David Smith, 27, administrator and chef, and Spike Reid, 25, communications and photographer – will be blogging for us on a regular basis, filling us in on the trials and tribulations of circumnavigating the world in a Land Rover! So make sure you keep an eye out on the blog for their stories.
