Last night Latitude’s own CEO Dylan Thwaites went up against some of the UK’s biggest and most exciting current Entrepreneurs and came out winning the Technology and Communication Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2006. In an evening where over 700 people attended with the competition split into 9 different categories from Young to Master Entrepreneur.

After winning the Northern Regional Award a few months back in Manchester for the Technology and Communication Section. Dylan moved onto the UK finals last night at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in London. Technology and Communication Entrepreneur was the last section of the award evening to be presented, with some stiff competition from large telecommunication companies and Media Agencies within it.

Winning this section of the Entrepreneur Awards was a very sought after title making it all the more satisfying as an achievement for Dylan, showing how far Latitude Group Limited has come as a business within only 5 years.

“This award recognises Dylan’s significant vision which has seen him establish a successful search engine marketing business, which he aims to grow to be the world’s biggest and most profitable online marketing company within five years,” Richard Hall, UK Markets Leader, Ernst & Young

“This award recognises a professional entrepreneur who has punched above his weight and secured deals with huge blue-chip companies,” says Rt. Hon. Lord Young, chairman of the judges panel.
