LG and YouTube to create Mobile Phone

LG currently already sell phones preloaded with Google software, and Google currently has in place deals with various phone makers to carry the Google software and there has been a lot of talk in the last 6 months or so of Google launching a mobile phone to rival the iPhone.

Well this could be the first step towards it, LG will be teaming up with Google’s YouTube to create a mobile phone that can upload, view, and share YouTube videos.

You can already with the iPhone play YouTube videos but you cannot create and upload to YouTube via the iPhone.

The phone is expected to launch in Europe in the second half of 2007, this shows the growing strength of online video and YouTube in general.
