Mobile internet usage on the increase

The way in which we search the Internet is changing. More and more people are choosing to search on their mobiles phones as well as their desktop PC’s.

A total of 13.2 million people in the UK are now regularly accessing the Internet via their mobile phones according to research by the Mobile Data Association (MDA).

Mobile users are increasingly using their mobile Internet connections to communication tools like MSN messenger, as well as search engines like Google and Yahoo.

Mobile Data Association reports that the “The UK"s increasing passion for blogging and sharing information looks set to be indulged further via the mobile Internet.” - the MDA aims to promote awareness of mobile data technologies.
