MySpace More Popular than Google or Yahoo

Hitwise have reported that MySpace has moved into position number 1 for all US internet users.  MySpace has overtaken Yahoo! mail as the most visited domain on the Internet for US Internet users.  MySpace’s growth has been rapid, this time last year myspace.com represented 1.9% of all the US Internet visits. Over the past two years myspace.com has achieved a 4300% increase in visits, And 132% increase in visits since this time last year.

Bill Tancer, in his Hitwise blog also reveals the “top search terms driving traffic to all Internet sites” is MySpace and MySpace.com with 1.28%, compared with last years top search term being eBay at .31%. Read more details at HitWise.
