National Business Awards: the final countdown
By Stephen Powers -PR and Communications Manager in Events
Gordon Brown called the National Business Awards “the Oscars of the business world”. And just like the real Oscars, with only a few days to go until this year’s NBA winners are announced, the tension is starting to mount.
All will be revealed next Tuesday night (10 July) at regional awards ceremonies up and down the country. At the Palace Hotel in Manchester, Latitude will be biting its corporate nails along with other companies nominated for an award in the north-west region event.
Did I say award? Silly me, I meant awards. Three, to be precise: Business of the Year; Growth Strategy of the Year, and; Entrepreneur of the Year.
Will we win? Naturally we hope so. But just like the movie Oscars, there’ll inevitably be a certain amount of subjectivity in whatever decisions the judges finally reach. Winners or not, we’re just delighted to have got this far.
