New operations centre for SME search product

By Stephen Powers -PR and Communications Manager  in Press Releases

Search marketing agency Latitude Group announced today that it has opened a new operations centre in India to support its internet-based, paid search service for small and medium sized businesses, ‘Latitude White’.

The centre is being operated for Latitude by an outsourcing specialist and is located in a brand new, state-of-the-art contact centre in Pune, western India. Initially it will handle ‘back-office’ functions for the Latitude White service such as invoicing and order processing.

Latitude White product specialists have spent the past three months in Pune interviewing, selecting and training staff in time for the centre’s scheduled opening at the start of this month.

Latitude Group chief executive Dylan Thwaites said that the new arrangement would do more than meet the agency’s immediate need for increased capacity for Latitude White. “As well as improving our service to Latitude White customers, the new facility gives us a secure position from which to explore routes into new international search markets – including India.”

Latitude White managing director Rob Shaw said the outsourcing arrangement would strengthen the SME search product’s position in the market: “The cost efficiencies we expect to achieve will help us to sustain our competitive price position against comparable search marketing services for smaller businesses.”

Launched in early 2007, Latitude White was conceived as a way to give small and mid-sized companies affordable access to the benefits of agency-run paid search advertising campaigns. For details please visit http://www.latitudewhite.com.
