Revolution Online seminar: Future of Search
By Simon Whittick in Events |Latitude Publications |White Papers |Search Engines |Yahoo |Microsoft |Search Expertise
Today saw Latitude and Revolution magazine join forces through our sponsorship of the first-ever live Revolution online video seminar, The Future of Search.
And having worried all weekend about everything working as it should, I’m delighted (and relieved) to report it went down extremely well!
Around 400 people had registered in advance for the, asking some excellent questions of Mel Carson of Microsoft, Yahoo’s Richard Firminger and Latitude’s Jon Myers.
All three made some really insightful contributions to the debate, discussing search’s potential on new media such as mobiles, and the likely long-term impact of web 2.0 sites like facebook and myspace, while the very best of order was kept by our excellent chairman, Revolution editor Philip Buxton,.
If couldn’t catch the event live, you can register to watch the recording at by clicking this link.
(or if you already registered click here )
All that remains is for me say a very sincere ‘thank you’ to everyone who made the webinar possible, and to all who tuned in or took part in one way or another.
