Robert Scoble: In a bad economy, search will still thrive

By Jackie Danicki - Blogger  in PPC

I caught up with Robert Scoble, formerly Microsoft’s blockbuster blogger and now superstar of Fastcompany.tv, today before he spoke on the social communications panel at Von.x. I asked Robert where he sees online marketing and mobile marketing going over the next twelve months. Unsurprisingly, he was as bullish about the future of search as most industry observers are. (If you want to see the Qik video that Robert shot of me interviewing him, click here.)

That guy goofing off in the background is Loic Le Meur, the former Six Apart exec who masterminded Nicolas Sarkozy’s social media strategy and is now running online video start-up Seesmic.
