Latitude Account Director Brendan Crawford was recently interviewed by Travelmole, the online community for the travel and tourism industry.  The feature focused on how smaller companies should approach online marketing.  Drawing on his years of sales and marketing experience within the travel industry, Brendan provided some useful pointers.  A taster:

“If you’re on a small budget the best place to start is with free opportunities such as Wikipedia, blogs, newsletters, getting good quality links ... Pay per click advertising can eat up a significant slice of an online marketing budget, so smaller businesses that choose this route should ... go for more specific, less common search terms.”
