SEMPO Survey 2005
By Jackie Danicki - Blogger in Marketing |Search Research
For those of you who may not know, SEMPO (the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization) is the non-profit, worldwide industry body that represents search engine marketing companies and works to promote awareness of the value of SEM. Latitude’s COO Richard Gregory is the Chair of SEMPO’s UK Working Group.
Right now, SEMPO is in the middle of collecting responses for its annual State of Search Survey. Last year’s report gave some valuable insights into topics such as click price inflation, the balance of budgets split across organic and paid search, and lots of other issues that are very relevant to the SEM industry. This year, we’re hoping to see some reflection in the survey’s results of the importance of the UK market in proportion to global search spend, especially following Latitude’s research into the competitiveness of the UK market and the announcement that the UK market accounts for 15% of Google’s total revenues.
Of course, Latitude has already completed its response to the SEMPO poll. We’d love to have all of our clients do the same, as SEMPO is aiming to compile the most comprehensive report to date on search marketing. So if you haven’t already responded to SEMPO’s State of Search Survey, please click here to do so. Every respondent will receive a free copy of the survey results and accompanying report that SEMPO will publish in December. Even better, you can display this nice, shiny digital sticker on your website upon completion:
