SES San Jose 06 - Day three highlights

By Admin  in Search Engines |Google |Yahoo |Microsoft |Miva |Search Research

After the Google Dance 06 and to fit in with Eric Schmidt’s busy schedule, day three of the Search Engine Strategies conference started at 10am.

Given recent Google gaffs at public events (particularly on click fraud) this question and answer session was, as expected, low on controversial soundbites and high on vague statements of new products.

Eric finally finished with the statement “consumers are just a click away from our competitors” underlining the desire for Google to address the growing list of concerns faced by advertiser.

When, what and how they plan to do this was left floating in the San Jose breeze.

Day three sessions included -

Big Site Big Brand SEM
Linking Strategies
Big Ideas For Small Sites & Small Budgets
When Search Engines Do Search Marketing
Link Baiting & Viral Search Success
Usability & SEO - Two Wins for the Price of One
SEM for Non-Profits & Charities
Pricing & Contracts For The Small SEM Shop
The Vice Presidents Of Search Marketing
